As of January 1, 2020, the province of BC has increased the sales tax on vaping products from 7% to 20%. Vaping products include cartridges, batteries, e-liquid and other vaping accessories. Vape tax does not apply to dry herb vaporizers.

Saskatchewan
As of June 1, 2025, the province of Saskatchewan has increased the sales tax on vaping products.
20% vape tax will apply, in addition to the 6% PST. Vaping products include cartridges, batteries, e-liquid and other vaping accessories. Vape tax does not apply to dry herb vaporizers.
